I really like the composition of this shot. The posterisation of the subject creates a sense of flattening which fits the backdrop well (since it is black/white and of a flat abstract nature).
The contrast between the subject and the chosen backdrop in terms of vividness creates an exuberant mis-match of the hue and the hueless.
