"Mmn..? You smell very nice... You smell like how butterflies look." Asphodel is like any other little girl; seemingly made of sugar, spice, and everything nice. She almost always has a dreamy smile on her face. This seems to be her default mood.

"Ahh, what a nice day...~" Aspie is probably one of the most calm cubs out there. She doesn't get excited easily, and more often than not, she's seen seemingly daydreaming or talking to her imaginary friends.

"...I don't want to talk about it!! Leave me alone!" The puma cub is more often calm than not, but when she's pulled out of her trance, she can get really emotional. Her mood seems to switch between being scared and nervous to angry to sad in just the blink of an eye. When asked about things she doesn't want to talk about is when she can throw temper tantrums; she's certainly not immune to them.

"... *snores* ..." This is the main reason why Asphodel is so calm; she's a complete night owl, so during the day she's always sleepy. She doesn't sleep well at night because of her nightmares. More often than not, she passes out from exhaustion and rarely dreams anymore.

"...I don't want to tell you, cos... you wouldn't get it..." Ever since she joined the empires, she realizes she's not quite... 'normal'; ever since she talked about her mother being there with her, adults look at her like they're afraid of her. She didn't mean to be creepy, so since then, she clams up whenever the topic of her ghost friends comes up. Whether she actually sees spirits or not isn't really clear. Due to trauma, she has poor verbal skills and exhibits memory problems. And because of her poor verbal skills, she's prone to lashing out. She has trouble focusing and learning new things and often shows regressive behaviors like curling up in a fetal position, or carrying around a shiny stone that reminds her of her mother; occasionally she'll even wet the bed and is extremely ashamed of this.

"...Umm... I... I don't think so...? I'm not sure, I don't really remember..." Asphie struggles with memory and behavioral problems because of what she had experienced. Her forgetfulness stems from her detached nature; whenever asked about certain events, she can get scared and lie on the spot.

"Mnn..." Asphodel doesn't really feel a strong connection to any one or anything; seeing her mother killed before her very eyes has traumatized her. It's so much easier for her to not really be aware of her surroundings. She's always tired so it's hard for her to be aware of her surroundings.

"My mom told me about you..." To help cope with her trauma, she creates lots of imaginary friends; she describes them as ghosts. Whenever she sees him, she gets extremely clingy and weepy.

"S...sorry... I'll just... go over there..." Asphodel kind of has trust issues, so when she meets new people, she can be really anxious and uneasy. The puma cub gets extremely nervous around spotted cats, especially leopards, snow leopards, cheetahs, and jaguars. Basically any bigger spotted cats; she doesn't really recall exactly what her mother's attacker looked like, she just remembers it being a large spotted violent cat.

Stability : Severely unstable. She's young right now, but she'll suffer from PTSD and has mild schizophrenia.

Biography

History

Asphodel seemingly appeared out of no where. No one knows where she came from, and she couldn't tell you anything about it either, so, no one will ever truly know of her origins. Regardless, her story begins with her mother. Isis, a pure bred puma, had lived comfortably within the city of Julii. She was intended to be a breeder, but after she experienced her first mating, she ran off into the nearby swamp. She absolutely couldn't imagine doing that for the rest of her life. Of course, being an inexperienced cat, she struggled with living in the marshy area. By the time her cubs were born on the Shadow and Fire border, out of the litter of four, two were stillborns. And due to her inexperience, the two who survived soon dwindled down to just one.

For a few months, Isis kept her daughter alive, until the fateful night where the Bounty Hunters caught up with her. In the middle of a starless night, they caught Isis, roughing her up a bit before she managed to fight back then escape with Asphodel. She ran for miles with the others in hot pursuit. The puma managed to run all the way to the Fire Pines, but with no tress to hide behind, or water to dash through, she was caught at the foot of Ignis's Oak. She only had enough time to stash the cub away among the roots before she was dragged away. The young mother couldn't be strong, not even with her daughter watching from the shadows. She pleaded for her life, cowering and apologizing- doing anything she could, however the spineless display only angered the one in charge of the raid. In less graphic detail, her limp body was carried away. It's unclear if she survived the abuse.

The event scarred Asphodel; when she was found the next day, she was seemingly vacant, in shock from the event. Though after being coaxed from her hiding spot, she just went back to normal. She had forgotten what had happened, but still behaves much like a traumatized child, showing all the signs, like poor verbal skills, memory problems, difficulties learning, poor skill development, and has a bit of a temper. She's demanding of attention at times (good or bad), exhibits regressive behaviors, aggressive behavior, and can act out in social situations. Sometimes she imitates the abusive behavior to smaller cubs, and can be verbally abusive; sometimes she can scream or cry excessively. It all depends on who she's talking to and what the context of the interaction is. Aspie startles easily, and is unable to trust others or make friends; she blames herself for the event, and fears individuals who remind them of the event. She fears being separated from her caretaker, and over all is anxious, fearful, avoidant, irritable, sad, and withdrawn. The puma cub lacks self confidence, and generally has a poor appetite, has frequent stomachaches and headaches, has poor sleeping habits due to nightmares, and occasionally wets the bed. Overall, she needs a lot of gentle care, however struggles to get it so she becomes despondent and has created her own ideal caretaker whom she talks with often.

The event scarred Asphodel; when she was found the next day, she was seemingly vacant, in shock from the event. Though after being coaxed from her hiding spot, she just went back to normal. She had forgotten what had happened, but still behaves much like a traumatized child, showing all the signs, like poor verbal skills, memory problems, difficulties learning, poor skill development, and has a bit of a temper. She's demanding of attention at times (good or bad), exhibits regressive behaviors, aggressive behavior, and can act out in social situations. Sometimes she imitates the abusive behavior to smaller cubs, and can be verbally abusive; sometimes she can scream or cry excessively. It all depends on who she's talking to and what the context of the interaction is. Aspie startles easily, and is unable to trust others or make friends; she blames herself for the event, and fears individuals who remind them of the event. She fears being separated from her caretaker, and over all is anxious, fearful, avoidant, irritable, sad, and withdrawn. The puma cub lacks self confidence, and generally has a poor appetite, has frequent stomachaches and headaches, has poor sleeping habits due to nightmares, and occasionally wets the bed. Overall, she needs a lot of gentle care, however struggles to get it so she becomes despondent and has created her own ideal caretaker whom she talks with often.
