  Pan was given every opportunity an adopted child could possibly have, making it easy for him to pursue whatever it was his heart desired. He learned how to be passionate and always reach for the stars when it came to his dreams. He constantly is submersing himself in his passions, which deal with plants, arts 'n' crafts, and books. As a child, he was always surrounded by knowledge and felt more confident and comfortable in the presence of his books rather than his peers. However, due to his home being in the secluded woods, he never had to worry much about interacting with others anyway. But being so far from civilization meant his mothers had to teach him to be innovative and search for novel uses of items. He rather enjoyed it and thought of inventing as more of a game than a necessity for their way of life.

On those rare occasions where they would spend time in the city, he was encouraged to interact with the other children in the area. However, he had trouble making friends due to his know-it-all attitude. It's not that he thought he was superior, but he was unintentionally condescending towards other kids. His petite size coupled with his big mouth and inter-species parents made him a target for bullying. So after a few heart-breaking failed attempts at connecting with the city kids, his mothers decided it would be best to let Pan do as he pleased- which was bury himself in his books.

The lovable momma's boy has never really known what it is like to fail. He does everything thoroughly and thoughtfully, however his meticulous behavior takes up a lot of time and he does not handle spontaneity well. His perfectionism makes it difficult for him to move from project to project; he must do things in an orderly fashion and complete each task before him before he can move on. It must also fit his standards for him to be satisfied. Pan's rigid set of expectations he possesses for himself and for his projects causes him a lot of grief. He seems to obsess over little details and has consistent intrusive thoughts about fixing what doesn't meet his standards. His neurotic behavior is troublesome for him and those around him, so he tries his best to contain himself, but to be completely honest, it doesn't take much to push him over the edge.

{ H I S T O R Y } Pan's early childhood was spent in an orphanage, though his earliest memories are those of his lovely little adoptive family. His mothers lived in a cozy cottage out in the woods where a half-elf named Acacia studied plants as a botanist while Felicitae, her human wife, played the homemaker. For the most part, the duo was very self-sufficient and primarily relied on themselves, which is a skill they passed on to Pan. Needless to say, he had a fairly secluded childhood, but the immense amount of love his mothers provided more than made up for it.

His sheltered life was completely blissful and early on, Pan developed a love for learning which made him into quite the bookworm he is today. He'd learn anything and everything he could from his parents and from the books Acacia would buy for him whenever she left for work. When Acacia held botany lectures in the city, Pan stayed with Felicitae and sated his hunger for knowledge by learning about music. And when music wasn't enough, Felicitae taught him different little arts 'n' crafts so they could decorate the home for when Acacia returned. The only problem Pan really had as a child was his lack of a social life. His mothers tried to help him socialize, but the distance made it impossible for him to attend school regularly, and the social clubs they brought him to is where he would be bullied for being a "momma's boy", a "goody-two-shoes", and a flagrant know-it-all. He just didn't know how to talk to the other kids without seeming like he was showing off, which is something he still has problems with.

Of course, being raised by two very independent and strong women (who can even be a bit overbearing and too protective at times) has caused Pan to grow into a gentle and organized individual. The structure they provided is something he is adamant about following; to the point where he might be considered a bit neurotic. Everything has to have a place and be neat and presentable; it has to be clean. And while he struggles with trying to make friends, he's certainly optimistic about the future. He wants to be a botanist like his mother, however, since he never received any formal education, he has to go about becoming one in a slightly different way. Pan plans on working with plants by any means necessary. He's hoping to get some field experience while raising his own garden and studying it in his free time; maybe he could even publish his findings so he could be accepted by the scientific community? So when he saw a flyer stating there were farm jobs and homes available in a peaceful little place called "Toffee Town", it seemed like the perfect solution for him! After all, he struggled with being around a lot of people, so living a friendly little town out would help him learn to interact with others. Once he talked it over with his mothers, he decided that he'd take the train towards his new (and corny) destiny!

{ A D D I T I O N A L I N F O }● He's an ovo-lacto vegetarian, meaning he eats eggs and milk, along with a typical vegetarian diet.
● Uneasy around hybrids because he's never really seen any before, but has read about them.
● He's got several craft projects going on: He likes decorating his plant pottery like this . And whenever he thinks about something he wants to do one day, he writes it on a slip of paper then folds it up into a little star and puts it in his 'dream jar'.
