Those who follow my art may know how much I love using golden and silver leaf on my works. This one was made to try a very new thing to me — an oxydated black metal leaf — and this was... AWESOME!!! Probably the most amazing medium I've ever seen and used!!! Even though the leaf was rather expensive, I had no single moment of regret to have bought it!So — this is a half-sketch watercolor and ink drawing of a dime above the wall of the Smolny monastery in St.Petersburg, another architectural masterpiece of my hometown.
