I had a very bad imsonia a year ago (from end of Feb to July), I had trouble falling asleep. I only sleep like for 4-6 hours every 2-3 days! It went on for almost 6 months. And it was such a painful experience...
During that time, I felt that city life was so quiet. There are lots of buildings, colors, people and other things that I've never seen before. But I am nothing to them and other wise.

Another Day in the City

It's five o'clock in the morning
I opened my window
I saw the tall buildings close by
and various ads on their walls
The lights on the roads were still on

It's seven thirty
I walked to class
I saw people and people and people
rushing and rushing and rushing
going somewhere in the city

It's almost twelve
The sun was scorching outside.
I was still sitting in the classroom.
The teacher was lecturing and the students were chatting by themselves.
But in my head
it was a loud silence I hear.

It's past eleven pm.
The night was dark.
I couldn't sleep.
I laid still.
cars and night people passed by outside.
But in my head
it was a loud silence I hear.

The dawn was bright outside.
I couldn't sleep.
I opened my window.
I stood there. Still.
The birds were chirping and the neighbors opened their windows.

it was a loud silence I hear.
