Holy crap, I can't believe this is done in pen. Did you sketch it in pencil first? Amazing concept and so beautifully realised for such a grim subject. To me, it reminds me of how little time we have before zips away our bodies, health, and minds from us.

Yes, i sketch some outlines in pencil, to avoid messing around shapes, shades and the rest of surfaces.
