- Early summer | He is sent on duty to the Ridgeback Range together with a group of guardsmen. Frantically he searches for Scarlet to let her know, but does not manage to find her before having to reluctantly leave, unbeknownst that he would never return. | Disappearing
- Late summer | During their daily patrol at the ridge, his stumbles upon a raiding party. Fighting ensues and neither side is capable of winning. Having the most to loose, the raiding party makes a run for it, but not before leaving the patrol with a parting 'gift'; a curse that slowly, but surely makes Aerion forget who he is.
- Early autumn | Not knowing he has been cursed, he continues carrying out the Captain's orders - the rest of the guards does start to notice that he seems a bit off, but it is nothing that affect his work, so they do not intervene.
- Late autumn | One day he wakes up and has forgotten the orders from the Captain and his duty to the kingdom, so he wanders off. The other guardsmen search for him, but has no success finding him and eventually return home to the herd.
- Late winter | The curse has taken full effect and the Aerion has essentially forgotten who he is and a side-effect of the curse shows itself; he cannot form new memories, as that would make him capable of remembering who he is, even if it is a new him.

Yer 761-766 of the New Age | 17-22 years
He starts wandering the edge of the Ridgeback Range, sometimes going up, sometimes going down, never really knowing where he is going and always forgetting where he has been. He gets into a few scuffles with raiders and mountain sentinels, thus earning himself a few scars, but nothing life threatening or in need of real healing. He can best be described as someone who has lost their short term memory - he can remember around 30 seconds before forgetting everything again, leading him to asking the same questions over and over whenever he met someone non-aggressive, all of whom passed him off as a bumbling fool or he accidentally wandered away from without knowing in the case where they tried to help him back to the herd.

Year 767 of the New Age | 23 years
- Late spring | He is found by a patrol and it happens to have one of the guards that were in his last patrol, who recognizes him. Now a bit of a mumbling mess, they decide to take him back to the herd to figure out what happened to him.
- Summer | Having figured out that he is cursed, he is put under the care of a princess in the hopes that he may hold memories of value.
- Late winter | Still struggling with his memories, he stays back at the herd when King Rafe leads the assault on Haven. He feels uneasy about it for some reason though, but is unable to place his uneasiness.
- Late winter | Though not an active guardsman anymore, it is not until the very end of winter that he is officially retired from serving the herd. He feels rather hollow on the matter, but accepts his loss of active duty.

768-770 of the New Age | 24-26 years | Unable to achieve physical stat points after this time period
He slowly, but surely, makes progress towards becoming who he was again. It is clear that the curse has affected him severely though and while he gets back his ability to form memories, much of his longterm memory is gone, leaving him with only the most recent years before he was cursed and even those are somewhat shaky, leaving some parts very blurry. It quickly becomes apparent that his memory is rather dependent on seeing something that reminds him of things, so seeing an old friend returns more memories to him than simply talking about them. He eventually remembers having left someone important behind, but the exact nature of their relationship is lost to him and so is their name. He asks around to try and figure out who it was, hoping they still exist somewhere within the herd, but is unsuccesful.

Year 771 of the New Age | 27 years
- Midautumn| Though he has been unsuccesful, he never stops asking around, and finally gets some information when someone recognizes his description as matching Scarlet, a doe who supported the now deceased traitor Drustan.
- Late autumn | Unsure of what to do with his new information, he attempts to gather what little information he can get on Haven. Eventually he settles that he must find this Scarlet and figure out the nature of their relationship. He feels he owes her something, but is still unsure as to why.
- Early winter | Though never saying where he wishes to go, a friend talks him out of travelling to Loch Kerr during the winter - he is an older stag afterall and spring will come soon enough.
