Beautiful view. Looks to me like the ideal summer climate as well! What is the culture like up there? Are there book stores... healthy food options??

Oh okay... I drove across Nova Scotia in the 90s. Straight across the interior at whatever speed you could manage! Signs for for gas and soup/pie, an occasional dirt track speedway. Halifax was very welcome when I finally arrived. A somewhat famous school of avant-garde art, a pleasant surprise. Debated heading out toward Newfoundland but drove home along the coast most of the way. At a campsite stoneware along a group was paused like statues. Just wait a second they said. Then the sonic boom of the Concorde filled the air!
So an adventure well remembered. But had my civic not been leaking everything a car could leak, would have found a way to get to Newfoundland! But just recovered a memory: shoes stolen from outside the door of hostel in Halifax. Was down to flip flops.
Travel is great! Each trip keeps on giving - for decades.
