Description A big render of the Special Weapons Dalek I made. It appeared on Doctor Who in Remembrance of the Daleks part 4, originally all grubby and not so well looked after.

Special Weapons Dalek is part of the Imperial Dalek Faction. It's main purpose is for back-up from heavy enemy resistance using it's massive laser cannon which is so powerful that it can easily destroy 3 Daleks at once leaving nothing but a pile of ash. Due to it's purpose, it doesn't have regular features as a normal Dalek as well a voice unit, inside it has a massive power supply for maxinum firepower, this however slowly mutates the creature inside making it to Imperial Daleks (as well as normal ones) a abomniation.

i love the pics, but the daleks appeared in the orriginal dr.who, like the second episode, called the daleks, all in black and white, with the lovely shooting animation. hehe, yeah again i think the pic is awsom

The Special Weapons Dalek was an awesome concept, and I remember it wowed the living daylights out of me watching it as a little kid. You've done a great job rendering it, too. I'd have loved to see it with the grime textures, too, but they all had to pristine units at some point in their service , so this works great, too ^_^

Thank u ^^ There is a free Special Weapons Dalek model on Turbosquid, but has been named as 'Heavy Weapons Darlek' and is a huge file at 3.05MB (while mines at 1.5 MB). I had wanted to see how this guy made his model, but 3D Max was refusing to open it (probably cause it was made on a newer version of 3D Max...But anyway, enough of that. Thanx for the comment ^^
