Description "The ice was here, the ice was there,
The ice was all around:
It cracked and growled, and roared and howled,
Like noises in a swound!

At length did cross an Albatross,
Thorough the fog it came;
As if it had been a Christian soul,
We hailed it in God's name."

The Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Samuel Taylor Coleridge

awesome at first i thought it was the scene in The Voyage of Dawn the Treader when an Albatross saves everyone, but its the Rime of the Ancient Mariner. that's even better since that's probably where C.S. Lewis got the idea.

I love the way its simple yet expressive. The best way to be! Loving the black and white as well.

wow - great print. The water "lines of reflection" reminds me of Impressionist art. The albatross is really well defined.
