In novel, Amelia hadn't met Zel until Lina finished off Copy Rezo-zanaffar (In anime, Amelia became the regular member earlier than in novel. Amelia should have appeared after the last battle of anime season 1, if the anime had followed the novel story). So Amelia didn't have a chance to hear Zel's past.

It's true Zel might have done a lot of things similar to this in the past, but that's because he's very determined and dedicated. He shouldn't have to carry that burden forever.

(QP sama's) Zel had done a lot of bad stuff under Rezo's order...He knows how sinful the stuff were and for somewhat degree, he gave up being forgiven. ....That prevents Zel from entering a big town, in addition to his feature.
He's still on wanted list and avoiding officials when he's not with Lina gangs. Poor Zel.

Yeah I read the novel where Amelia came in, which was the assassination plot against Phil which was shown in NEXT. And Lina could shrug off stuff as rumors as look at all the scarey tales about her XDD
