A little experiment with colours!! I hope you like it

The idea behind it, well when creating it I started off with the 'tentacles', added the leafs and the 'vines'..
So I was going for a 'tree/plant' kinda look. Thats all I can really tell about it tho!!
The mystery about it should be that nobody knows what it is exactly..

Could you explain this piece a little more? The idea behind it etc. Seems pointless otherwise doing 2 hours work for just a pretty piece of art.
I feel that they are grapes on a vine. And I really like the seemless nature of your art.

I still suck at Illustrator CS2, I can say I can equip the pen-tool better in Illustrator then in Photoshop

beautiful. the design is perfect and the reflection at the bottom adds to it. i personally would have prefered a larger green background as this crop is not too stimulating. i love the gradient of browns and greens - adds dimension

This is a fresh-looking visual. The color scheme is well thought out and definitely fits the mood. And the reflection at the bottom adds a mystical touch to the mystery. I do think you're repeating shapes one too many times here. This is organic, therefore randomness should happen. For instance, the spade-looking leaf should have different variations in shape. Each leaf, stem, or whatnot can have its own personality. That's organic.

Tho I admit you're right, organic should be more random instead of repeaty!!

I am somehow made to think that it is chocolate olives. The only mystery in that, is the taste. >.> Hmmm. But yeah. I like how it has sort of a retro feel (using brown takes bravery I think, in decorative art stuff, haha), but still the modern smoothness of digital art. Yep. That's as advanced as I feel today. *plucks off a chocolate olive and eats it*
