Well, at first I wasn't sure if this was a manipulated photograph or a drawing, because the shading and shapes were all right. The category tells me it's pencil, so it's really good pencil.
But... I don't know why you would draw this. Now that I've scrolled down, I can't even remember what you drew. I think I understand what my art teacher meant in high school when she said I had no vision. This is just not something you would draw a picture of. It's amazing work, don't get me wrong, but I couldn't even remember what you drew five seconds later. Why don't you apply your skills to something people actually like?

It's not your vision...it's the silence...they make you forget them the second you look away...

I honestly have no idea. I once bought a pack of thicker, more rough and kinda beige paper. And im using it ever since

I just looked at my older drawings. I think I started trying Grey paper only two years back. And I love it! Takes a little more time in comparison to draw on white, but it's sooo rewarding. I remember watching some art from a Doctor Who fan-artist that used coloured backgrounds (although she added the background colours via the computer), and was inspired to try a grey background. And I must say I'm very happy I did. (Just made a new drawing of Kirk Acevedo in the grey-with-white-pencil style, whom is Charlie Francis in Fringe - will upload later today).

I'm lazy, I still haven't made a decent photograph of the fringe drawing (eventhough I'm planning a new one already: Donald). Yes, the white paper I bought in Belgium. The grey in cheap shop for little hobby stuff and books, in the Netherlands
