Description "Hey,"
A chilling breeze made you shiver. Your eyes were shut tightly, blocking out whatever light there might be.
"...don't look so good..."
You could hear a voice, but you could hardly make out what it was saying. Curled up in a ball, you were just barely conscious to notice any of the things going on around you. The rustling of leaves, the whistling of wind, the dark presence which soon dissipated along with the voice.

After what felt like only a few minutes but was really an hour, you finally forced yourself to open your eyes and stretch. The placidity of sleep let you glance around drowsily without feeling panicked. No, you weren't in your room. You didn't even know where you were. Birch trees towered above you from every side. Their red and yellow leaves trembled. Eventually consciousness lifted the fog on your mind and you stood, wide eyed.
"Where the heck am I?"

You began to fret, wandering through the forest. Your pace quickened. This area was empty, quiet, and peaceful. But you did not feel at peace. The air was cold and crisp, obviously fall. There was no sign of human life. Your stomach growled loudly, causing you to flinch. There were bushes full of berries and plants you guessed were carrots dotted around, but the thought of eating something straight from the wilderness disgusted you.
"Besides," You spoke aloud to yourself, "I don't even know if those berries are edible."
However, hunger forced you to kneel by one of the plants, tugging at it until it popped from the ground. A gnarly rooted carrot rested on your hands.
"Ugh, it's covered in dirt." You frowned. "I need to wash it, or at least roast it over a fire..."
Thoughts of tools you could use sprung into your head and you got to work.

You'd been chopping trees for quite some time. Your mind had gone into survival mode, and you were almost having fun, though the thought of dying lingered in your mind. You waved it away.
"I won't die." You assured yourself. "I've played plenty of survival video games and watched Man Vs Wild. I'll be able to make it until I find someone."
The sky was darkening, so you set up a fire and sat beside it, roasting some carrots.
"I'll go exploring more tomorrow. I'm bound to stumble upon someone eventually."
After having a hot, crispy meal, you stoked the flames and lay down. The ground was bumpy in a few places, but you knew it could be worse.
"At least there aren't any bugs."
The moon rose and you dove into the world of dreams.

The next morning you groaned, cracking your back and stretching your legs. You'd gotten a surprising amount of sleep, thanks to the exhaustion of chopping wood. You gathered your tools and headed off. After a short amount of time, you came to a dirt path. You could see in the distance it forked. You jogged along until you reached the crossing. One branch turned into a brick road and headed across what appeared to be a bog, while the other, still dirt, lead into a savanna. You glanced both ways. At the far edge of the bog you could've sworn you saw trees, but you weren't sure. The savanna simply lead past a minefield of rabbit holes into the horizon. Here you had to make a choice.

Swamp or savanna... Leaning towards savanna, I've heard Markiplier gripe about the swamps...
