Is there a fanfic about Rush had gone through the gate with rest crew?I remember I read one at LJ.
I think force Rush gone through the gate is a callous move,it must be selfishness and maybe careless love drove Young did that......Rush might wanna be a hermit but I don't think Young gonna let him~~He would said something like:"One who does not work must not eat!"and make Rush blend in~~~XDD

Notebook is my favorite part of this pic,and it is my final touch on this painting.My frist choice is Rush's glasses,but I can't convince myself how can Young ever have his glasses,and Eli or Brody can accidental bring Rush's notebook with them.although I love the idea Young will talk to Rush's grave,I also want them grow old with each other,still fight about something marginal,talk about Brody's leaving[I think Rush gonna scorns taht Futura idea~Rusha is much better!!!XDDD],Eli's marriage and his child's name......Or maybe Rush become the leader of .."Futura"...They will have a meeting every year,something like that...hold hands and grow old with you together......;(....I miss them!!!!TAT

I remember reading such a ff as well. But I don't think it was on LJ. I think it was on fanfiction.net.
No doubt, Rush would be a hermit, but would Young join him? Do you really think he could stop Rush with these words?
I think the notebooks fits better in this situation than is glasses would do. His notebook is more typical Rush than his glasses. He used to use it more often.
But what if Rush would have become the leader of Futura? Would there be the arguments and the little war between Tenera and Futura?

Young been prove he has his way to stop Rush doing things,not always be a good way though,but he is the only one who can.My assumption is base on a best-case scenario,Young want him stay with him and Rush compromise...But mostly likely Young might say"leave it" and Rush gonna rot in the woods......NO,I change my mind,since Young is the one force Rush come through the gate he must feel he is responsible for Rush.And he is also responsible for rest of the crew,then he can't leave them become a hermit.He must force Rush stay with them then he can look after him.

Tenera and Futura is kinda represent Rush and Young in the show,they will fight,like World War that kinda fight.But also like Young and Rush they will come to agreement I think.

That's the story I've meant.

Without Young Rush would be unstoppable. Oh, that must be pure horror. Rush without his beloved Colonel Young who keeps him together and (well a bit) calm.
