Description
1. Wen Xing (Wendy) is the chief finance executive of a major hotel chain in the beach town Yishu lives in.
2. Since she was little, Yishu remembers her mom steering her towards school math clubs & athletics, but she always wanted to pursue artistic clubs instead.
3. Despite her best efforts, Yishu's mother was unable to make her daughter a business tycoon like her. Their relationship has been rocky ever since.
4. Yishu obviously loves her mom but can't help feeling like a disappointment sometimes. Wendy even criticizes her tattoos, weight, hairstyles & fashion.
5. Maybe Wendy's constant disapproval comes from a place of jealousy. She's not getting any younger. Maybe it's regret.
