Hm well if you like yuri, I can recommend you a site with a lot of translated yuri-ish doujin (it's labeled what is hentai/ecchi or not, most of it is just general yuri but there ar ea few hentai ones there) [link]
Personal Color ones are really sweet and have a good story/characterizations even when there is some ecchi.

[link] explains characters, but there are too many of them so you will be confused if you tried to learn them all. the wiki page also lists official and doujin manga and has some downloads.

I only started reading cos I liked Marisa/Alice Kinda had to just... look at random stuff and figure it out, at least on this site you know basically what your'e getting into so I found some circles that are pretty good. I know of other doujin I've found but some are not translated and looking is kinda hit or miss (my last attempt at finding things on a doujin archive site ended in both of what I downloaded being dumb het doujin with the one guy in the series) I've relied on for guidance You can almost 100% blame her for this, otherwise I'm sure I wouldn't know where to start figuring it out.

I can add that... from what i've seen and been told, the vast majority of touhou doujin are yuri oriented if anything, but having seen Patchouli being brutally gang-raped, and futanari-Suwako doing her greatgreatgreatgreatx20000 granddaughter on danbooru, I will never trust a source I don't know.

yeah, I'm ok with it unless it's hetero... so I started there >_< and if there is a bad storywith just lame sex, it's kinda boring even if it doesn't bother me. so that way I could see some things I knew woudlnt' gross me out
