"After wandering through the forest for who knows how long, feeling exhausted and dehydrated, I collapsed on my knees. At that moment the ivy bushes moved aside and revealed overgrowed stone stairs. Where are they leading? Will I become even more lost?"

I came up with this "background story" after I saw this amazing photo Forest Stairs Stock and I immediately decided to try and draw it. Thank you blaisedrew62 for enabling to use his photograph.

Drawn with color pencils (Faber Castell Polychromos) leaf by leaf. I don't know how many hours it took me to draw it. I started 5 months ago, but I didn't draw everyday.
