This is for the OC-Challenge, where you were supposed to include your characters in some sort of mythology, or make them a mythological figure.

I've been obsessed with Egyptian mythology since second grade when I saw the show 'Mummies Alive' (I loved Nefertina XP), so I wanted to draw my own version of my favorite Egyptian goddess, Bast I decided not to give her the head of a cat, and make her look more human with just a few feline characteristics. She is holding symbols commonly associated with her- the ankh and a sistrum. Below her is my original character, Micaiah. He grew up in Eygpt, and, as he has a fondness for cats, I believe that Bast would have been is patron goddess, and so here he is praying to her/making an offering of incense.
