And start using them as weapons?
And when did we become the enemy?
When did meals become torture?
And when did food start to taste like shame?
When did picking up the fork become a struggle
And eating a meal a war?
And when did we start standing on one side
And our body on the other?
When did friends become as fake
As the masks we use to cover our face?
And when did everything become a waste?
When did we start trusting all the ugly words
And stop believing compliments?
And when did we become afraid of ourselves?
I mean what the hell happened?
Well I guess we grew up
