I find it a bit strange because the foreground has almost no color and the sky is so colorful...

The dune grass had very subdued color, almost a grayish green, that morning due to lack of light. The sun is still below the hill to the left. I used a reverse graduated ND filter which tends to intensify the color in the sky but not the foreground. Anyway, hope that helps explain the lack of color.

I never used a reversed ND Grad... It is used mainly to keep an central horizontal line exposed, right?
