This is especially a good picture. She seems so isolated and afraid- and the background, everything crumbling around her.. as if no where is safe.
And the mask only draws the viewer in deeper, making them want to pull it away, revealing a face damaged beyond recognition, just like her soul. At least, that's how I interpret it.
