This is superb! Beyond vibrant. It appears that the best oxygen is at Algodones.
This photo gives me a similar feeling to a specific shot in "Everything is Illuminated". When the camera pans up as they walk the path through the sunflower field toward the womans house.
Colors that you can breathe in.
Well done!

Lovely, the light coming in off the left and bouncing off the dunes adds that heavenly touch to it. Amazing

And the 5D, badass camera

Just awesome! I love how the sky echoes the sand sort of. Really a wonderful shot! Is this with the cool new camera?

Yeah, you gotta check it out. Where are you in Baja? I'm in Mexicali at the moment.

I'm in Ensenada. But I used to live in a little town 2 hours from Mexicali...

Ensenada is nicer than Mexicali. I'm here for a few months. I plan to visit Tijuana and Ensenada while I'm here. I'm not really digging Mexicali so far.

I know, Ensenada is way better than Mexicali... I haven't been in Tijuana since I was a kid... Aw well I hope you enjoy it!

For a 5D pic it seems to have jpeg artifacts.

Love the colors, and would prob fav if it was sharper.

I assume you're talking about the morie effect going on on the left side of the sand? I think it's due to the resizing for display on the web. The photo was shot in RAW format, so it's not coming from the camera. Anyway, thanks!

Yea, it was that area and parts of the sky.

Could be cause of the colors too. I dont know, It just looks weird to me.
