Description Watercolor plate from the 826DC Catalog of Evolutionary Diversions, from the Museum of Unnatural History in Washington, DC.

While they live in the lush, fecund valleys of Missouri, this species of hare is on the verge of extinction due to the simple fact that you can't eat when you're incorporeal. Known to frighten small children and those easily startled, the hare can often be caught floating along vacant country lanes in the middle of the night. Alas, being incorporeal also prevents you from passing on or reproducing, so only one of these hares might really exist.

Poor hares. They're partly incorporeal, so they have trouble eating.
