This is a lovely scene! But you should never be terrified: You can always do it again, and it will get better each time. Draw as much as you can, and don't be afraid of mistakes. The only way to become a master is making as many mistakes as possible every day, every time on a higher level .
You could also make copies and start by trying some colors on the copies and color the original if you know what you want to do.

I really like this.  I understand being terrified to tamper with a piece once it is finished.  I've pretty much sworn off coloring anything.  I just ruin stuff.
