Woho...FINISHED.This took me like forever to finish.
It was a war...
I kinda loved the sketch but I put myself under too much pressure so I hated the final outline-version unbelievable much. After I added some color to Sailor Moon I thought 'Maybe it isn't as bad as I thought' and left it on my desk for about a week....doing nothing. Juts staring at it.
Today I decided to finish it....but after adding more and more color to it I HATED IT.... then I thought 'Don't give up...maybe this will work'
and ....*TARRAA* That's the final version.
Still...too much mistakes :/
Why Sailor Moon?....
I love Sailor Moon and I'm so happy Takeuchi's manga got re-released here in germany. It was my very first manga and will also never forgot my 10year old self watching Sailor Moon in the early morning hours.
She was my hero, I laughed and cried with her and was happy that in the end all her dreams came true.
So this piece is dedicated to all Sailor Moon-Fans out there

I swear I shed a little tear thing of all the wonderful memories your drawing brought up for me. Sailor moon got me in to drawing and then in to branching out to meet my friends throught her. Even gave my sister hope to feel liking another girl was normal and romantic. Thanks to sailor moon and your self I feel like a kid again.

Quite possibly one of the best fanarts I've seen in a long while. Its really good!

Don't be so hard on yourself, I think it's a wonderful Sailor Moon tribute. All the little details like the earth in the background and what looks to be a piece of Darren's cape really show off just how much love you put into this. It's not perfect, but I really like it captures a lot of personality and tid-bits from Sailor Moon that fans can appreciate. C= Your personal touches (things like the beads and tiny moons) really help give it that extra umpth.
In the long run, thanks for sticking it out and showing us this finished piece, even if it did frustrate you repeatedly, I'm sure there's lots of fans besides me who really like this piece of fanart!
