Well then, first drawing of 2012, completely done with SAI... and it's from some obscure anime/manga which nobody (that I know, at least) has seen/read. I regret nothing.

So for the ones who actually care, here's Kusuriuri (that weird-looking guy, FYI) and Bakeneko (the ghost cat, duh) from Mononoke (and the last 3 ep. of the prequel-ish Ayakashi)

I just wanted to try a completely different type of coloring, and I think it turned out okay

PS: I've put a clean version of Kusuriuri without background etc. in my Scraps --> [link] because the shadows messed up the original colors a bit.
Oh, and I got lazy near the end, can you tell from the lack of sword and patterns on the clothing?
