Some design sketches from 2015~
I love characters with white hair, but... haven't they become a bit cliché? In recent designs I tried an umber tone, and I believe it looks better, but I still kind of want to return to the white.

Character Description:
Celith is a young, excitable adventurer and sourcist (a religion with a moral code that explains the universe and employs magic, science, and martial arts) who's from the dying red planet Loha and on a quest to summon the gods and uncover his world's mysteries. For his design, I was mostly inspired by traditional Indian and Arab clothing aesthetics, but still had "science-fantasy" in the back of my mind. I plan to add a lot of lore and myth to his world, but nothing is really defined or set in stone yet, just a jumble of notes and ideas. There's still much writing and research to do. What is your impression of Celith?
