Another Fashion Fever contest challenge entry.So, we had to make a three piece bridesmaid collection based on one of the themes given. I chose the 20's. And we had to design for different body types. I also chose nice pastel colour scheme, champagne pink and peach, I also chose a dark purple lace for contrast.
The first dress is for a really curvy girl. The under dress has a full skirt that it longer in the back. it has strips of lace and sheer running down the bodice and flow at the waist.
The second dress is for a girl with a boyish figure, which was the ideal figure of the 20's. So I went classic with this one. A sheath dress with a drop waist and below the waist a shear gathered skirt. It has strips of lace for some detail.
The third outfit is for a pear shaped girl. It's belted just above the waist, accentuating the hips. And it has a shear over dress.

I could so see the first and third in my closet or on my Bridesmaids. The 20's was one of my favorite "modern" fashion eras next to the 40's.

I think the third was my favorite. I like the middle one, but it really doesn't suit my body type. I love the look of the 20's, but I don't think I would ever wear it.

That was a similar thought i had about the second one too. What a lot of people gotta remember about the 20's through to the 50's is women weren't born with those bodies. They used steel boning and body suits to slim down. Even under the skimpiest of flapper attire they were tied into their undergarments.
