A chicken at Roger Williams Park Zoo.

This photo was taken with my brand new camera! My fiancé bought me a Canon EOS Rebel T6i for Christmas. :} I decided to try it out for the first time at the zoo yesterday. I still have much to learn, as I've mainly used a point and shoot. I bought a used, and very old, Canon Rebel a few months ago. It was quite old though, so old my computer couldn't even download the software for it. I also didn't have much camera equipment for it, not even a neck strap. My new camera was bought as a bundle, so it came with a lot of equipment. I have to learn how to properly use it all, and all the functions of my new camera. I can pretty much say it's the first time I REALLY got into a DSLR, and finally moved away from point and shoots. I'm so happy, since I really love photography. Wow, there's so much to learn though! If anyone has tips on using a Canon EOS Rebel T6i, I'd love to hear it. :}
I am proud of this shot. I had to shoot through a fence, and the chickens kept moving. I learned how to shoot through the fence, and waited for the perfect time to snap a photo. This was my favorite chicken, since it reminded me of my orange cat. :}
