---------------- Nightmares ----------------
ehhh they're beings that feed off the fear you get when having a nightmare. They force their victim into a nightmare and feed off of that.
in some extreme cases (cough cassy and angela cough cough) the nightmares will take hostage of its victim and force them to be permanently in the dreaming world. the only way to escape is overcoming your fear and forcing the nightmare to detach, or find and kill the nightmare.
either way the nightmare has to die
they're able to travel freely from the waking world to the dreaming world - but originated from the latter.

---------------- Elliot ----------------
-------- Character Summary --------
Elliot is a nightmare passed down from Hal through the family to the eldest. He was broken in and has since formed a loving tie to Hal's family line.
When the people became more fearful of nightmares, culling them and so on, the family was forced to hide Elliot for many years for his safety, but was soon forgotten about.
Ethelred soon found him while going through the family's old junk. happy to be of help to a member of the family he loves, elliot quickly comes back into society, fabbu as ever.
Now he helps teach others about nightmares so that they might see them less as monsters

Very loving and kind, he wants to hug everyone and play games. he wants to fit in and so dresses like a human, scared of what others might think of him if he shows what he really is (like no one notices pfft).
very fearful of his true nature he tiptoes around events that might cause it to appear. Thankfully so far it's only been short bursts and no one has gotten hurt
