Oh I had to clap at my screen, this is awesome! So rarely do you see scifi soldiers acting like knights of the past...very restrained and kind of thoughtful.

What an excellent, dramatic pose. I imagine him standing in pouring rain, like on a rooftop guarding something. Perhaps You could experiment with it if You have the time and mood for it, but anyway, it made me think, as your work often does (: .

He's adorable
And the subdued gold color you chose for the highlights/piping works really well with the grays and black shades of his uniform. It's not so bright that it distracts from the rest of the outfit and does the job of highlighting sections and keeping the eye going...but that's probably why you chose that color 
Also love how complicated his armor looks next to his simple and stylistic uniform. It almost makes him look more armored than you really see.
