Camie.  Camie Buni.  She was in true love with Peter Holsor.  They'd run to the same forest every day, kissing and laughing.  They'd take a hike, she'd tell the same goofy joke each time.  "Why don't you make like a tree and leaf, Holsor?"  He'd laugh, she'd kiss him.  They had no problems.  They were perfect together.
Camie woke with a gasp in the middle of the night.  She'd had a terrible dream.  Closer to crying then she'd been since they got together, her hand searched along her bedside table for her cell.  She then realized she'd left it in her locker.  I'll go over there, she thought.  After all, he'd given her the key and said to come over anytime.  She got dressed in the dark, pulled on her sneakers, and set off.
She parked her car behind his, and glanced up at his window.  She smiled.  He must've been awake.  Peter never slept until at least three, and it was two.  She pushed the key into the lock and pushed open the door.  Climbing the steep steps up to his room, her footsteps couldn't cover the loud music playing.  This wasn't unusual, but there was something different about the music.  Usually it was upbeat and peppy, now it was soft and sweet.  She opened the door, and found Peter alone.
Well, almost alone.
Yes, he cheated on her.
No, she never forgave him.
