Description This is a rhododendron which grows along my the outside of my house. It is a beautiful green this time of year but I find it to be quite stunning in b=w.

Another excellent shot my friend. The black and white tones really make everything stand out quite nicely. I agree that B&W photos contain so much more and offer so much more then your standard photograph. Excellent work.

I love it, the leaves look silver and black instead of just black and white. The lighting for this shot must have been perfect for the leaves to project just the right about of brightness to give the look of silver. Almost appears like an engraving. Amazing what one can do with b&w... excellent

thanks for commenting on my View. I still want to finish her. One of these days....

loves the leaves!

i really like the composition.. in full view there's a great texture that's almost unreal. The shapes and the way this plant explodes reminds me of our solar system.. This to me is an abstract macro.. The black and white served well

indeed, the b&w was a great choice in this case. The contrasts are really interesting, and they add something to the image.

The composition is also quite interesting, and the geometrical shapes of the leafs are strangly relaxing.

This is a great macro shot.

Thats a very interesting photo. I do agree that B&W photos bring out the detail in objects, especially the more colorful ones.
The only suggestion I have for this is to center the plant a little more. Right now its kind of off to the right. If it were centered we (the viewers) would focus more on the subject rather than the surrounding environment.
