Description I rarely go back and revisit a piece, always preferring to move on to the next project, but I really like the idea of this one and could see the potential in it for it to be better than it was - so here's the updated and improved piece (on the right), compared to the original piece on the left.

I know I've used the same style of clothing for the model, (and I used the same hat), but i wanted to show how I've improved with adding hair under hats (very difficult to do in poser). This was redone from scratch - it wasn't just opened up in Poser or anything like that. In fact, redoing it from scratch gave me the opportunity to see exactly where I'd gone wrong with the lighting in the first one. I'm much happier with the pose, I feel the lighting and textures are better, and I prefer that she's looking off camera as opposed to down the lens.

The first one looks like a photo of that all on a mannequin, but the second one looks like it's a photo of all that on an actual human. Way more lifelike, definitely liking the hair here, and I agree with you you have improved so much on the lighting...

This was just Poser and Vue. I use ZBrush for some things, but in this one, I just used photoshop for some of the textures, Poser for posing and and putting everything together, and Vue for the lighting, atmosphere and rendering.
