Description
"The greatest Thief the world has NEVER seen...."A cynical, highly disciplined master thief who only wishes to be left alone to steal in peace, but who unwittingly becomes embroiled in a series of epic events. As a child, Garrett was recruited into the Keepers but later rebelled against their secretive, hierarchical ways. He left the mysterious organization, went into business for himself as a thief, and now uses his Keeper skills to steal from the rich and give to himself. Garrett comes across as cold and ruthless, but also seems to have a professional pride and will only kill when absolutely necessary.
What can I say, I'm a HUGE Thief fan...

More like melting into the chair for me. I've uninstalled every other game from my laptop to make space for all my art tools, but i cannot uninstall Thief... I just wish Thief 4 would hurry up....

Thief series... So wonderfull indeed. Few of the best games ever. Well I have to tell you that I like the 3:rd one the best but that may be because that was the first one I ever played. Truely I can't say it in words how much i like this game... Then came the 1 and 2. Anyway great games them all. So moody and so much fun. And I still sometimes have nightmares about that cradle... If Thi4f is as moody and has as great story as DS has then I'll be one of the firsts to buy a copy of it. 
As for this image you could add a bit more details to the backround to make it more interesting. The character however is pretty much perfect. But all and all you did good work with this.

Thanks! I tried it both with and without the light, then with the light but no light shafts - so much fiddling for one little light....
Oh, and this is the piece that I was swearing about so vehmently yesterday when I managed to pull the plug...again....

Yay, another fan! Thank you! As far as I'm aware, it's just the three games: Thief - The Dark Project, Thief - Metal Age, and Thief - Deadly Shadows. There is a fourth game being produced, but it's still to be confirmed. As for fan stories - I'm sure there are.

Nah, they're computer games - usually filed under Action, though I think they're more RP games. Oh yeah, totally different to D+D. It's set in a sort of medieval meets Victorian steampunk world, and you play Garrett, the master thief. There's a whole load of info about it on Wikipedia.
I used to do D+D, yeah. I mainly either do text-based online RPing now (the story-line versions - basically a whole group of you get together and write the story) or computer single-player RPing (Like Thief, Myst, those sort of games). I'm over in the UK. I used to do D+D with my university.
