Everland got a shock this morning.

It seems Death himself decided to pay us a visit.

Death of a Saint is the name on his papers, but he calls himself something else, something much darker and more fitting to his appearance and station.

He claims to be Spider King's sire, the true king of the eight-legged horses of the Forsaken Lands. Somehow, he was granted immortality and youth in exchange for keeping track of departed souls in his homeland- but that's a story he hasn't told us yet. He was interested in meeting his granddaughters, Arinoctis and Coraline; they seemed to know he was someone important, as neither tried to eat, or seduce, him.

And yes, he is quite willing to pass his genes on to others, with a promise to throw slightly more... sane... foals than his son Spider. He is quite intelligent and capable of speech, though he warns that foals he sires by common horses will not inherit this characteristic.
