Blu's entire endoskeleton shook nervously as he watched Alexis turn to leave. Half of him was screaming for him to reach out for her and tell her how he felt. The other half was screaming at him to say nothing and just avoid any embarrassment. Blu's processor rapidly weighed both situations and judged both to have equal amounts of pros and cons. If he told her, the pros would be that it would finally be off his chest and that he could finally discover how she felt about him. After all, she had told him a few times that he was, in fact, her second favorite animatronic...That had to count for something, right?

However, the doubt that was slowly consuming his processor also played out a tragic scene of rejection, one where she'd walk away from him like he was some weirdo and never speak to him again... After all, she had the Marionette with her, didn't she? The both of them were practically inseparable... And the tenderness they shared definitely had not gone unnoticed by him... In fact, it filled him with a bit of jealousy...

No, he mustn't dwell on that.

With a shake of his head, Blu cleared his mind of such thoughts and quickly examined the outcomes of the other option. If he didn't tell her, well, the pros would be the avoidance of rejection...but the cons would be the eternal question of how she felt burning in the back of his processor for the rest of his days.

Blu quickly calculated the options, and recalculated them, and recalculated them. Finally, panic and desperation drove Blu to make his decision. Reaching out a single hand that trembled slightly, Blu made to grab for her shoulder.
