I'm so glad you are ok. I live in Austin, so I had no damage, but we had some trees down and minor floods. Keep on keepin' on!

I'm glad you're safe! My family and I ended up evacuating our home, with a few of our neighbors. Thank goodness it's over.

Yeah, the flooding has gone down since then. We're actually out grocery shopping now that the streets are navigable.

Yeesh, you've got it bad-
Makes me feel even worse knowing my side of the flood barely reaches past my ankles.

Oh dear. That's nothing to feel bad over! It's good that your flood isn't as bad. You're incredibly lucky!

I know, I do.
It's just... whenever I feel like I've got it better, I end up also feeling like there's people who end up viewing me as if I'm on a high horse, being all tall and mighty when I'm trying not to act that way.

EverStarcatcher In reply to EndieEnder [2017-08-29 17:25:53 +0000 UTC]
Well, if those people exist they certainly have some issues of their own. I always believe that having good fortune should never be demonized by the less fortunate. It's just that, good fortune. Those who try to look down on others for having good fortune are hateful and jealous people that need to reevaluate themselves.

XD
Nah, it's something more terrifying...
This beast is referred to as "The Habitant", also known as "The Abomination"..
Clocking in at 15 or so meters tall, it's horrific... an insectoid exoskeleton, with a second demonic human-like face inside it's first mouth.
Long sword-like claws, bug-like wings, and grace reminiscent of a demented ballerina, this fiend dances about the battlefield, swiping and slashing at it's prey wildly.
It also possesses the ability to lob swarms of insect-spore things from it's body simply by flailing wildly in mid-air, and can furthermore let loose a sonic shriek mixed in with a breath attack that fires out literal bats.
That's right, the Habitant can breathe bats.
It's fast, big, and pure nightmare fuel.

Ok... that is the best freaking thing ever. Willow has instantly fallen in love with it and wants to name it something like Sweetpea or Hellspawn. Lydi says that it better be house trained if it wants to live in her house. Or else she'll make it regret having a digestive system in the first place. X'D

It IS awesome, I adore it-
Though, I'd probably have Therakiel wanna name it "Akumu" because it'd creep him out XD

EverStarcatcher In reply to EndieEnder [2017-08-29 18:02:20 +0000 UTC]
Pfft. Will would be happily strolling around Therakiel with it on a leash, with her feeding it severed body parts as "treats". She'd ask if Theri would want to pet Sweetpea.

EndieEnder In reply to EverStarcatcher [2017-08-29 18:05:51 +0000 UTC]
Theri would hesitantly say yes, and lightly pat the massive beast on the head as it crawls along the road, cars would try to swerve around it and crash, the whole town ends up just going into a panic because there's this massive bug-man thingy walking about.
Though, Willow might wanna keep all forms of bells away from it, if a bell rang it'd get REAL pissed REAL quick-
On a second note, here's some video of it:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipYz1v… (Starts like 40 seconds in)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxuOmF… (The entrance cutscene and the clash)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=kW4gUW… (Solo run against this monstrosity, showing more abilities and how to deal with it.)

Ooh~ When my YouTube comes back on I'll go and check those out!
Also, Willow would totally be bummed that she can't get it a tinkling bell collar.

EndieEnder In reply to EverStarcatcher [2017-08-29 18:12:53 +0000 UTC]
She could give it dog tags, but give it a bell at your own peril XD
Another thing I should tell you: It's got like doll joints on it's head and limbs-
It can bend unnaturally-
And good luck snapping it's neck or breaking a bone-

EverStarcatcher In reply to EndieEnder [2017-08-29 18:15:55 +0000 UTC]
Hee. The doll parts just make it all the more awesome for Willow. She loves crew doll aesthetics. She'd make sure Sweetpea/Akumu has a long and happy life in her care. She'd cuddle with it in her silky true form often. It would feel like a soft blanket for the beast.

I'm glad you're safe, though. Best wishes to you and your family.
