I took a short break from writing. It's amazing how fast the details of a scene can change in the blink of an eye, and you find a sudden clarity you didn't have 20 pages ago. There's no downside to better details, but it does create no small measure of additional work, having to go back and fill in those details where they change the story.

There are no gods or goddesses in the Webweaver's Universe. Only those who believe them so. Even trapped within recurring cycles of mortality, even being part angel and part demon, Lyren -- the twin sister of Eolestra -- believes she is one of them. A goddess...and her purpose is to reunite the universe as one -- to make it whole again. She knows the secrets of time. She knows the secrets of magic. Yet, through cycles of reincarnation, the sisters are captured and kept by the Morwynn, a sect comprised of angels, demons, humans, the Anubai and even the occasional dragon, evolved throughout time. Its only purpose is to hunt, trap, and hold captive the sisters and thwart whatever destructive behaviors they can enact.
