Description
So this is my first serious stab at pixel art. I read a few tutorials and started and trashed several times but now I will post one and take my licks. I'm at a huge disadvantage being colorblind so I have to make my own pallettes with an eyedropper tool and reference photo. Even then I get it wrong from time to time. So I started with a somewhat static picture without much color depth to see if I could get my customary details that I'm used to getting from my micros. I've worked on this one for almost two weeks and I need to leave it alone now. Please let me know what you think.Done in MS Paint.

If this is legit pixel art, I'm stumped on why you would save it as a jpeg of all file formats.

I did not save it as a jpeg. I do bitmaps. Not sure what da does when I upload, but I upload bitmaps. Is that why you think it's not legit?

Why does both the image URL and the text under "Download image" say that it's a jpeg? Before I say anything else, I wanna see the image in a format that doesn't use lossy compression.

Well I'm stumped on that. I just went and looked at the other deviations in my Gallery and they show to be jpegs as well. It must be something that deviantart is doing. Weird.

Word of advice - PNG's are the best file format for pixel art. Use that instead of BMP's.

Let me know when you get around to saving your BMP file into a PNG file, because I really wanna see this work in its original quality.
