Description The League of Four is an internationally-renowned group of superhuman champions (often dubbed the world's premiere super hero team or the first family of super heroes) based in Gotham City and dedicated to the betterment of the world through scientific discovery and defense against evil.

It all started with a rushed test flight of an experimental spacecraft. Years before, while a student at Gotham University, Bruce Wayne began working on plans for one of the first vehicles capable of interstellar travel. His roommate and best friend, Rex Mason, jokingly promised to pilot the craft. But Wayne, after studying to be an aeronautical engineer, finally realized his lifelong dream. Exhausting the majority of his vast inheritance, he funded the construction and launch of such a starship. Other financers, particularly the U.S. government, however, were losing interest and they threatened to cut him off from their funding of the project. Wayne embarked on an immediate test flight, taking Rex Mason with him who had become a successful Air Force pilot. Wayne's longtime sweetheart and fiancée, Beatriz Bonilla da Costa, and her childhood friend, Patrick O'Brian, also joined them. Rex opposed the idea, warning that the ship's shielding might prove inadequate against intense forms of cosmic radiation. Nevertheless, Bruce persuaded them all to accompany him, stealing into the launch facility, boarding the starship, and blasting off in pursuit of scientific glory. They intended to travel to another star system and back, but a solar flare temporarily boosted the intensity of the ionizing radiation in Earth's Van Allen belt.

The spaceship encountered a bombardment of cosmic radiation, causing both the mission to be aborted and the craft to crash. Emerging from the ruins of the spaceship, they discovered the radiation had mutated their bodies. Patrick gained the ability to stretch his body and limbs, Beatriz was able to fly and become engulfed in green flame, and Bruce was able to bend light around his body and become invisible. Rex, on the other hand, gained the power to shape-shift his body into various forms, using the elements contained within the human body. He also possesses the power of virtual invulnerability in his inert state at the cost of being severely disfigured. All four decided to use their powers to better humanity and founded The League of Four.

That was the idea. Characters drawn in MS Paint. Background is stock. Everything assembled in MS Paint.

i think the best things about this are the justice league characters you chose to be in the League of Four and which powers and roles of each fantastic 4 member you gave to the JLA characters you chose. What I just said applies especially to Invisible Man (aka Bruce Wayne). Because like Mr. Fantastic Bruce Wayne is the most fit for being a leader out of all the characters in the group and he can be pretty obsessive. But though Bruce has the role of Mr.Fantastic he dosen't have the rather ill fitting power. Instead he had the powers of Invisible Woman, and that fits perfectly. Batman is known for being introverted and stealthy, he would definitely love to have the ability to become invisible at will.

This was an idea about interchanging DC and Marvel characters that became an art project as an afterthought. My thoughts on Wayne as leader of the League of Four seemed easy, but it was changing the dynamics of the group's powers that proved to be the most fun. Thanks for taking a look.
