After Quibble Pant's run in with Rainbow Dash, he still questioned his beliefs about if his adventure with Daring Do had actually happened. The next year he went back to the same convention, but he never ran into Rainbow during the whole thing, which just proved to him that it never happened. That was until Daring Do had to be called out on another mission, Quibble was packing his things to leave when she ran past him. He ran after her and he ended back up in the jungle. Dr. Calballero eventually found him and took him in, but he wasn't planing on befriending him.
Quibble accidentally became pregnant with Calballero's foal. After a few months, he gave birth to a skin-pink filly which he named Rose Gold. Dr.Calballero eventually became abusive towards Quibble, giving him many scars. Dr was planning the whole thing from the start, he wanted to have a pony to test on. A few years passed and Rose Gold was a healthy young filly, Dr was about to put his plan into action But before he could harm Rose, Quibble ran away with her. The two eventually ended up in Ponyville. Quibble Pants and his Rose Gold now live with Rainbow & Soarin and their son as they hide from Dr. Calballero.
