Description

First character for this!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Ian Ford
Age: 20
Fairy Tale/Ancestor: The Emperor's New Clothes
Curse Details: Any project of artistic value he works on turns invisible, but only he can see it. If it's music, it appears to others that there's no sound coming out.
Allegiance: Neutral
Personality: To put it frankly, Ian comes off as a loser. He's socially awkward around most women and his reactions to new things can be over-the-top and off-putting to those who aren't used to being around him. He’s normally perceived as a slacker, and his curse isn’t helping his case at all. He can be pretty easygoing and carefree, preferring to simply live his life and see what it brings him instead of trying to put effort into things. He would much rather play the guitar or work on a new passion project instead of focusing on what is important at the time, like his homework or breaking the curse. However, this laid-back attitude acts as a mask. Ian tries his best to hide pent-up apathy and resentment towards his life and circumstances. He will raise his voice when provoked, and when he’s angry, he’ll stop at nothing. One of the things he is truly ambitious towards is proving everyone who has ever doubted him wrong and doing anything he can to get whatever he thinks he deserves. He isn’t afraid to take shortcuts.
Likes: music, knitting, any artistic endeavor, playing his guitar
Dislikes: people not believing him, being underestimated
Best Friend: N/A
Significant Other: N/A
Sexuality: Questioning
Backstory: Ian grew up in a rather neglectful household, as the youngest of three siblings. His brothers were football players and talks of his local high school, while he was more of the artsy kid. His mother would casually mention that he would never amount to anything and would compare him to his siblings to other family members. Ian did everything that he could in order to prove himself, like taking up multiple jobs, getting guitar lessons, and even trying out for his high school's basketball team. He made the team and performed fairly well his senior year of high school. He managed to get himself into a good college, but none of it mattered. His brothers still overshadowed him. Realizing that most of his efforts were going to be pointless, Ian stopped caring about what his family thought of him and overall what others thought as well. This carried over into his schoolwork.
At a party he went to once, he met someone he recognized from class. Wanting to impress her, he decided that he would try his hardest on his next project. The day he was supposed to present, however, was the day where Caradoc did his evil deed. The very moment he stepped into the classroom, the project disappeared. Or at least it appeared to... Ian was laughed out of the room. The moment he stepped out, he conveniently remembered a story about an emperor who was tricked to wear invisible clothes. Even more conventiently, a flyer appeared by his apartment talking about a little place that dealt with fairy-tale coincidences. Ian dropped out of his school and went to the facility at once.
