The High School Musical films,especially the first one, are a huge guilty pleasure of mine. I admit it;I actually consider the first one to be somewhat of an equivalent of Equestria Girls: they are both films that have a tendency of breaking barriers between school clubs or 'social classes', there are somewhat bland characters (cough cough cough),some plot points are forced and a bit cliche- I'm looking at you HSM sequels- and the series' music is catchy and quite good by my standards. I don't really have anything else witty to say about the series, but there is someone out there who has the time and dedication to watch all of the films, plus the spin-off, and thoroughly analyze the characters. Her screen name is HedonisticRainbow.

Mostly she makes the live action equivalent of AMVs with clips from those movies: mostly shipping Sharpay/Kelsi, Troy/Ryan, and other canon ships, e.g. Chad/Taylor and tears apart or defends the characters' actions throughout the films, mostly the Gary-Stuish Troy Bolton.
