I can just tell that the features are slightly less anime-ish now, and have more cartoony qualities. For instance, the nose - it's a bit bigger and more realistic than what you've had before, and some cartoon styles have that kind of theme going on. I think of anime still too, but mostly in the coloring style and the eyes - you have a nice blend between cartoony, realism, and anime, actually XD

I've always liked the more realistic, oldschool anime styles, maybe that's why my art doesn't look distinct manga, because it's more oldschool and more realism inspired? I don't know XD

Indeed XD I could be inspired by a thousand different things haha... I can only pinpoint a few select works that actually inspire me, the rest is a muddled mess of inspiration in the pool of all that is inspiration

Yes! It was the only way for me to make his hair look decent (read: make it still obviously look blonde/yellow but shade it with blue and not make it smudgy)
