WHEW. This is going to be my Earth entry to and 's element contest.

Eden is a mix of things, but first and foremost he is my original character so please no sticky fingers!

More than anything when I thought EARTH I thought of the mythical forest guardian, the unicorn. In the end I decided to make him a Kirin, or Asiatic version of the unicorn. For the deer part I chose fallow deer who have beautiful elegant antlers and retain their faunish spots through out their life on their tauny red coat. His hind legs are meant to be just generally feline, perhaps to represent the kings of the forest and grasslands. The spider web between his horns holds a tightly spun seed in the middle, it represents the seed of life, from several mythologies, including fruit of good and evil or the golden apples from Greece and the Norse, it's full ramifications is totally up to your own imagination.

His tail ends with a flipping and serpent head who is his female side and his constant companion, her name is Cathetel which is the name for "Angel of the garden" I chose to add Cathetel because eden to me seems like a very lonely creature of solitude, it also represents the Chimera, another hybrid creature from mythology made up of goat, lion, and serpent.

Eden and Cathetel alone watch over this desolate but fruitful garden which in pun is meant to be a representation of the garden of Eden from Christian beliefs. I myself am not religious and hope I don't offend anyone though if I do you might want to consider lightening up

As far as the background goes I sort of winged it, I tried to include as many differen sorts of plants as I could think of, many I'm sure will be more identifiable when I color this. Either way this is the most complicated background I have ever attemtped!
