God i wish i hadn't made this costume at the end of summer! I want to wear it! T_T I love Kid so much and i really like Chrono Cross (and i believe it would have been thought of as a much better game if it wasn't related to such an insanely good game). I Made a plushie of Pip so that i had at least one party member with me, and i hope you enjoy this shot as this week's cosplay of the week.

i wish more female cosplayers would show her some love. It really wasn't a bad game... it just wasn't good compared to chrono trigger. On its own it was amazing but its hard to live up to such a legendary game. The characters were all unique! Truly it was a masterpiece!

yeah that's how i feel about the game it's a lot of fun and in a way it can stand apart from chrono trigger, i mean it tells you everything you need to know about chrono trigger in it's own story. Chrono Trigger was just SO good that people put it up against it, but it only had 2 members of thhe chrono trigger team on it.

Technically they had one player who was playable and featured about 6 characters from chrono trigger if I recall... Flea Slash and Ozzi Made an appearance but thats an easter egg fight... they show lucca, marle, and crono in the game. Technically Magus is a playable character as its hinted that he's guile and he does go scouting the ages to find his sister who's lost in time (who is actually reincarnated as Kidd).
But yea... it really didn't have too many references or common occurrences... I mean i don't even recall guardia castle being anywhere or the continents looking similar. They sorta screwed the pooch on it in those respects. They should of just called it something else and people would of saw the similar characters and went "THIS IS A SECRET SEQUEL!" and things would of went over better...
Kinda sad because they tried to milk it using the previous title and it just ended up pissing people off....

well the islands it takes place on are south of the area the castle is on, but those islands don't exist til after lavos is kill and then time travel and yeah, it gets confusing and i agree that it should have been its own game, though that being said i only picked it up because it was a chrono game

I never did get a chance to play Chrono Cross, I would like to but you are right, I think I usually go back to my Chrono Trigger when i need a gaming fix!

i love chrono trigger and i do think it's better then chorno cross, its just chrono cross is a lot better then a lot of other RPGs, (just not Chrono Trigger)
