i don't know if this matters or not, but thought it would... their open fingers combined = four. i thought it was five at first to match the "gimme five!" deal but then i got smart and learned how to count again and saw the guy only has 3 fingers up, lol.

I kno I'm kinda stretching it, but even tho he has three fingers up, the girl technically has two up. It's a bit of a stretch, but at least people will still get it.

Seriously, you do them more justice than I. I should just hire you to do my comic, hahaha. I wondered though, what's the significance of the "five" thing? Is it just thematic for fun or does it mean something really obvious that I missed because I'm sleep-deprived lol?

lol No, it's nothing that deep. I'm sleep-deprived too. It was just for fun. As I was drawing Gil (since he came first), I was thinking of what to do with his hand. Then, since I gave it the three pose, I wanted Mesu's hand to mimic a similar action. And bam!
My thought process gets kinda lazy
