Next part:Yes, I know it's early, but this year I've decided to put out the parts as they're done rather than how I usually put them all out at once when it's all done.
So here's part one, this description will be edited to include the other parts when they're finished.
Trixie sure has come along way since year one...
For one now she actually has friends to buy gifts for!
Yes I know that Trixie is probably friends with at the very least Twilight (and maybe all of the mane 6) by now, but for the sake of this comic she is only having problems looking for Sunburst's and Starlight's gifts.
Fun Fact: the winter boots Trixie is wearing in this comic are the same ones that Santa brought her three years ago in 'Trixie Vs. Hearth's Warming: year three', so yay consistency!

Yeah, in the show she does, and even did it often in her first episode back in season 1.
But this comic is from my 'Ask Trixie from Trixie Vs.' tumblr and although I keep her very close to canon Trixie's personality, here Trixie is more obnoxious, oblivious, and self-centered.
One of my guidelines for it is that my Trixie never speaks in the first person (except for the places where I mess up and don't catch it).

The ponies in Ponyville loved Hearth's Warming a lot
But the Great And Powerful Trixie...well, she did not!
She once loved it so much it made her spirits fly
But now she hates it, although nopony knows why
Some say the reason was that her existence was tragic
And bitter because ponies didn't appreciate her magic
But the biggest reason for hating it, or so I was told
Was because the gifts she wanted to buy were already sold

Nice recall! It's year 12 for Trixie, but just six for us(which seems so unbelievable, it feels like I did year three just last year!).
Yeah, I was hoping it would be able resemble the iconic Grinch intro enough for people to recognize it. But Pony anatomy is quite different from the Grinch so I wasn't sure if it'd work well.
